The Bonsai Society of Southwest Florida was founded in Fort Myers in 1973.Our club is involved in numerous activities during the year just like all active bonsai clubs. We have our annual show, participate in two Home and Garden shows, enter the annual Strolling Flower Show, do demonstrations for various groups around town, go on various field trips and have traveling speakers from both inside and outside the state. In 2003, we hosted the Bonsai Societies of Florida State Convention. This year we planned and organized the State Convention Exhibit in Orlando (check video below). In other words, we stay very busy throughout the year. This year we are hosting our 38th Annual Show: Two days full of quality bonsai program, demonstrations and workshops, a fine tree exhibit, raffle and vendor area.The Fort Myers Election Center is located just across the Bell Tower Shops, hotels and restaurants are in walking distance.
